In 2011 AMATØR was founded by Eline Starink in Amsterdam and has grown fast since then. The essence of this unique brand comes from her inspiring little brother in Norway, who is born with Down Syndrome. “We both have our imperfections and we both see the beauty in them. It’s the beauty of being an AMATØR”.
During the growth of the brand, the need to have a brand book became urgent. Not only internal (the team) as well as external (investor) it came necessary to communicate a clear view of what the brand stands for. Within a few sessions the mission, vision and brand values were re-defined. Also, a style guide was included so the team members knew how to create a consistent visual brand identity.
